The week in links, a little mashup of things I’ve seen, heard, and nearly found amusing. As you can see, I’ve made quite little changes with the layout (again) — damn that design playground. I have been messing with the CSS and, as a perfect noob, I’m not sure everything will be perfectly set up. I’ll surely have a lot of adjustments to make in the days to come, but that’s part of the fun, isn’t it? Anyway, down to the inspiration.
• I had a good lauch discovering that “Make my logo bigger” had been adapted as a song. If you ever need some cheesy metal music, here you are.
• These Sci-fi ads are quite funny. A nice take on the vintage horror posters.
• Interactive youtube video for the new street fighter. I don’t like the visual tone, but the idea is pretty good. Not as good as the wario wii add though.

• A nice FlickR set for type lovers.
• The Rocky Horror Picture Show is to be revisited by MTV (I may be late, but I’m shocked). No one could wear high heels and corset like Tim Curry. Never, never never.
• Everybody is talking about the font recognition iphone app, but what about a kerning game? That’s real challenge.
• It’s friday, you should be playing a bit with this addictive flash game. A great procrastinating tool.
• I wish they’d do that kind of saddle marketing in France, I definitely need one of those saddle protection.
• My bosses bought me this book, Universal Principles of Design, which seems a pretty complete insight on design theoriesl. I look forward to reading it.
• I’ve downloaded tweetdeck, which I found intimidating at first but finally adopted. It’s really useful.
It was a pretty good week indeed, with a lot of work, but also a lot of laugh — which, all in all, is a sort of tight equilibrium. I’m now off to eat a far too greasy Kebab, the only food available in a 5Km radius. Wish me luck, and have a great week-end. Oh, and may the force be with you on Valentine’s day. Being alone is better than being with stupid!

Tweetdeck is awesome, I just recently started to use it too. I use to have Twitterfox (a plugin for Firefox) but wanted something more feature rich.
That flash game is weirdly addictive. My best is 15 seconds, I’m still trying to beat that though.
Love the logo song
Congrats on the 15 seconds, I can’t beat 11! (I’m a noob at flash games, so pityful)
