Yayoi Kusama

It seems that there’ve been a lot of internet fuss about japanese artist Yayoi Kusama lately. Not that I’m fond of “trendy topics” (wait, yes, I am), but that’ okay because she’s just awesome.
Yayoi Kusama is the only ever living woman artist to have sold a piece of work for over $5,100,000 — making her a pioneer. She wears crazy stuff and makes strange installations, pretty worth seeing. Oh and she loves polka dots too.

And how cool is it to have studied in NY? That rocks !
