Moving is living

Damn, I’ve missed this gorgeous screen-print by Matt Taylor. Please make one more so I can hang it over my bed! (Edit: There were some prints left. Bought one. Happy now.)

Edit: The poster was re-issued in electric blue!  Go! Go! Go!)

heart print

I may be suffering from a hormonal disorder lately, but I tend to get crush on about everything. Especially this little heart print by buttercreamindustry.

Gotta build some walls to hang art or something…

Did you see the Poulpe Pulp website? It’s full of vintage octopus goodness. And everyone loves a bit of tentacle from time to time uh?

Covers by John Paul Thurlow

I juste stumbled upon M.JPT’s work, and all I can say is: awesome.

In his own words:
“This is an hommage (six months in), an attempt to create cover art for every great magazine I own (+ a few I wish I owned). It’s never a straight crib and it’s not about perfection, the source magazines are simply a playground for my imagination…

Covering covers lets me combine some of my favourite things; portraiture, pencil sketching, typography, graphic design, and ideas – there’s usually one in there somewhere.

The occasional photos illustrate the Covers process: I draw A3 & A4 sections which I sometimes collage or retouch in Photoshop.”

A sure way to be creative and demonstrate high skills both in drawing and composition. If you wanna see more go to his Flickr page or his blog. Enjoy!
