As you can see, I’ve been updating the blog a little. It was time for something different,
but in the end, something that would really be easier to update, portfolio wise. I’ve been fumbling through tons of pre-made portfolios solution, and while I really did have a crush on Pixie, I ended up sticking to wordpress for the sake of not loosing everything I’ve made around here. Anyway, I’ll be uploading loads of new works in the portfolio section in the next days, so keep your eyes opened

This is certainly not Pixel perfect for now…My understanding of CSS is in constant evolution (from huh? to duh?). So don’t hit me too hard on the head, okay?

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Ilovegraphics. I can remember the painful nights spent learning Wordpress, correcting glitches, trying to understand the basics of Html, and most of all, spending time trying to imagine what the future of this blog would be.

Truth is, I didn’t post as much as I hoped to — I guess that’s part of the doomed blogger’s life. Real life has catched me back, and forced me into many time consuming activities such as reading books, watching the sky, and talking to cats. One year ago, I was wondering if I had to quit my job as a junior art director, and try to find a new activity. One year ago, I wondered what I could do with my life, as it seemed to me that things weren’t that good. One year ago seems like a pretty long time ago. During this year, I’ve made new things, met new people and new friends, learn quite a few tricks, and most of all, bought a wonderful little house with my significant other. Seems like things have finally gotten better.

What now? I’ve got a whole brand new year ahead of me, coz I renewed the domain name  for Ilovegraphics. And now that I’m settled down, I’ll sure try to post more. Until life gets me back again.

Oh, this is my 100th post on Ilovegraphics! As I love to celebrate small things in life, I’ll dedicate this post to my lazyness, and won’t write anything valuable. A lot of things to come this week anyway: a post about how to look serious on a boring client meeting, a weekly inspiration post bigger than my ego, a designer of the week post (please send your submissions lads!), and  special ilovegraphics Glasgow edition (I’ll be there for 2 days, yum).

Side note: as I wrote this, I ate a macDonalds sunday. For a reason I can’t explain, it seems that this stuff is not melting. Plastic icecream anyone?   

Shredded A design.

Dear readers,
I didn’t have a lot of time lately to update properly, or even to finish my design updates. Things are, a lot of work — or at least, work that get my mind busy, took my free-time and energy. 

In the same time, I took important decisions that I really cared about, such as becoming an organ and bone marow donnor (I’m passing the medical exam on Tuesday, and I’m pretty nervous about it actually).
Anyway, now that my mind is getting free of all of this considerations, I hope to be a bit more concentrated on the blog. I’d like to complete a makeover all by myself — this including coding a template and not only borrow elements from other themes. (Anti-procrastinating device, I shall remember that…)
Anyway, I’m down with telling you about my life ah!
