Resolutions batch process.

Nice illustration By fantastic Marguerite Sauvage.

Hi everybody!
Hope you had a great week-end, and that you’re ready to smash this week up! As I just woke up — yes, it’s 8:00 P.M., that is the “tumultuous” part of the website description — this list might seem a little blurry, confused, and drunk. Nevermind…

• Manage projects. I got several things cooking at the same time at work. That’s good for the productivity huh!!
Read the selection of books I just received. I just got “The education of an Art Director” (and “The graveyard’s book”, but that has nothing to do with graphic design). Let’s see if this book can give me a hint about the job…
• Watch animes over and over again. That’s an otaku resolution, that goes under the same file as “play some more video games”. That’s good for productivity too, I swear!
• Try to avoid shopping for a while. Not only am I broke (as always), but the city has just gone christmas crazy. There are small chalets all over the place with fake sow (wtf?), and people buying presents everywhere. I can’t help but feel awkward in crowded places.
Buy some rain clothes. Riding a bike to work isn’t always a piece of cake. I really ought to get something not to be completely drawned, but with the former resolution, that seems difficult T_T

Then, nothing of mere importance this week. This is the kind of period when you just stay at home, avoiding the cold and the rain outside.

What about you? Any great project to share?

Have a great week, and don’t forget to eat your greens,
Zélia.

Okay, so for this week, I swear I’ll…

  • • Sleep again and again. I’m in holydays. And even if sleeping might not be considered as something valuable, I love it to much not to do it. :D
  • • Clean! This also might seem unbelievably boring. But I’d like to start anew before going back to work next week. And I have this monstruous closet of doom waiting for me. The kind that throw you shoes when you open the door. The kind that can eat cats alive.
  • • Get things done. I’ve a lot to do and not so much time to do them all. I promess that I’ll get this ****** portfolio online before the end of the week! That I’ll do some great graphic design! That I’ll finally finish all the project I’m on at the moment. Damn, I wonder what I’m doing all day long…
  • • Breath fresh air. Have fun. Enjoy. Don’t eat the bacon sandwich of regret.

I hope you’ll all have a great week…Full of great resolutions, aims and goals.
The nice illustration is by Tebe Interesno, a russian illustrator saw on E-sushi.

2 1/2 months to new year’s resolutions resolutions.

It seems that making resolutions is getting popular these days. This blog publishes a new batch of resolutions every weeks. Luv it. (Edit: forgot the link. Sorry guyz)

Weekly resolutions

Start anew! Get some resolutions.

I don’t know for you, but maintaining my resolutions trough the week seems unbearable. But… I love to make lists, so let’s try again. ( The point of making resolutions is to discover, at the end of the week, that you’ve been wandering too far from your usual routine to keep them up to date. Isn’t it?)

So this week…

  • • Eat more chocolate. Yup, this is a resolution. Reason 1: It’s good. Reason 2: It makes me happy. Period.
  • • Finish my sketches on painter. I’ve started a whole lot of sketches a few weeks ago, and never finished them. Painter rocks, and so should I.
  • • Do some Wii fit. My mother beated me on the hours spent on the balance board. My gamer’s honor is trampled. Damn.
  • • Read the stack of book which is waiting for me. Because it’s time to get some new ones. The bookshelves seems a bit to “usual” these days.

This week’s motto is: stay indoor, it’s raining! Read some good blogs, watch the monthy python over and over again, wait for winter to come and drink a lot of tea. Hmmm, yes this is no help to make an exciting week. But I quite like to be bored. Makes a good conversation starter.

But please suggest exciting activities for those who are completely depressed by November’s cold and dark days… (Anything other than spending your life in front of a computer might do.)

Cheers, and stay tunes. This week might be quite interesting.
