Hi there! More than a week without any updates, something I try to avoid by all means, but that seems to be more and more difficult… Last weeks were pretty intense work-wise, ruining all my plans to do anything else on a spare-time basis. Pitches are officially 1/dreadful, 2/horrible, 3/trying to kill me.
Anyway, time for some purtyyy things. Because work is not all in life.

One of our main client has been awarded several times —which is great, and most of the biggest agencies were in the top list. So I read it, as a matter of cultural immersion, even if I have no peculiar interest in who’ve won what.
Awards are given to the best Art director and best Creative director of the year: 9 names on the top AD and 11 on the top CD. Which leads us to 20 names.
And only 2 women. WTF??
Oh yes there is. I look forward to read this book, written by Andre Andreev and G. Dan Covert: sharing the failures and successes of the transition between the paradise of student life and the harsh professional world. There are already a good bunch of essays online, that I highly recommend you to read. I love “jobquitting”, “the list” and “how will you know when you are successful.” Everyday, I feel less alone about wondering about my graphic design career questionning. Thank you the internet!
